The NRC Staff and the Applicant have suggested the consolidation of five contentions previously consolidated in two separate groups: 3aker 1, Cumings 1, Tex 3IRG Additional 31, with Saker the lead party; and Doggett 4, Perrenod 1, with Doggett the lead party. All these cententions question the Applicant's financial qualifications to safely construct and operate the proposed facility.

s. Mr. Ooggett has informed me, by telephone, that he has already written a letter accepting such consolidaticn and stating that 3aker should be lead party.

I also accept censolidation and agree to be lead party, on the under-standin: that Arclicant vill previde ti=ely answer to Dogrett's First Set of Interroratories and Recuests for production of recuments (June 5.1960). *

Mr. Doggett hand-delivered these to counsel for the .tpplicant on June 12,1960, so I will be expecting to see answers to the interrogatories shortly after June 26. 3aker's Second Set of Interrogatories (June 3, 1960)are virtually identical to Doggett's first two interrogatories; :herefore ip;11 cant need only answer these once as they apply to the entire financial qualifications centention.
