After consulting witn one of the intervenors in this proceeding, I understand that there is some confusion with respect to the general interrogatories addressed to each party in tne "NRC Staff Second Set of Interrogatories" wnich were filed on July 1,1980. These general interrogatories were intended to inquire into how each of the intervenors plan to use the SER in the
. presentation of their direct case and in cros:.-examination. The directions for answering the interrogatories were not worded clearly in this regard and I apologize for any disruption this may have caused.
