PROPOSED EXPORT THAT NO LONGER REQUIRES COMMISSIONER REVIEW (XSNM01672)

Enclosed for your review are. copies of a pending license apolication, favor-able Executive Branch views, and proposed license for the export of 27.1 kilograms uranium to NUKEM in West Germany for the fabrication of fuel elements for the Ford Research Reactor at the University of Michigan.

Under revised 10 CFR Part 110 regulations, this type of export no longer requires Commissioner review. Unless we are advised by your office, within 7 working days from the. date of this memorandum, of any particular issues which may require further analysis, it is IP's intention'to issue a license for the proposed export.
