Notice is hereby given that the U. S. Muclear Regulatory Connission f.;f (the Comission) has issued Amendment No. 8 to Facility Operating License h
c "o. DPR-51 issued to Arkansas Power and Light Cecpany which revised M
Technical Specifications for operation of Arkansas Nuclear One, Unit 1, I
located in Pope County, Arkansas. The anendment is effective as of its date of issuance.
The arendmnt deletes liraits on chemical concentration of substances discharged during operation of Arkansas Huclear One, Unit 1, v!hich are ie is.
now covered by National Follutant Discharge Elimination Systen (HPDES)
Permit (No. AR 0031392) issued by the Environmental Protection Agency.
The pp ar.endment does retain a linit en total quantities of chemicals discharced.
In addition, tha er.andnent incorporates changes; (1) in che:aical uonitoring requirenents; and. (2) 'ir administrative reporting requirements.

The applications for the cmencent comply with the standards and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as ar.cnded (the Act), and -
