Analysis of Occurrence:

The neutralizing tank, which contains impurities remaining after regenerat-ing condensate demineralizers and plant make-up water demineralizers, was being drained into the discharge fiume when samples were taken. No other liquid releases were in progress ~at the time of sampling.

Four circulating water pumps were in. operation.
