Dear Mr. Howard:

Appendix B 2nvironmental Technical Specifications requires a report if the concentration of chemical parameters increase across the plant in excess of ETS limits. On July 14, 1975, samples taken at point 20 and the discharge canal indicated turbidity. increased by 13.3% acrose the plant. The ETS limit is 10%. This represents a turbidity incre:se of only 2 JTU.-

At the time the samples were taken four circulating water pumps were in operation while the neutralizing tank was being drained into the dis-charge canal.
