Dear Mr. Moseley:
Appendix B, Environmental Technical Specifications, Section 4.1.2.a(2),
requires a report if " projected fish kill on the intake screens exceeds 3000 pounds per day."
Fish impinged on the intake screens between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on 2/12/75 totaled 3995 pounds.
Fish killed on the intake screens between 12:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on 2/13/75 totaled 1115 pounds. The projected fish impingement for one 24-hour period between 8:00 a.m. 2/12/75 and 8:00 a.m. 2/13/75 is 7665 pounds. This estimate is based on two 8-hour sample periods. Of the total weight collected, 99.9% was a mixture.of gizzard and threadfin shad. Threadfin shad com-Prised 86% of the total number of shad.

The water temperature at the inlet to the condenser water box was 44.3*F and the ambient air temperature was 26'F as measured at 8:00 a.m. on 2/13/75. The unit was at approximately 100% full power with all four circulating water pumps in operation.
