l Sacramento Municipal Utility District is 'the holder of Provisional Construction Per:1t No. CPPR-56 issued by the Commission on October 11, 1968, for construction of Rancho Seco Nuclear Generating Station, Unit No. 1 i
1 presently under construction at the Company's site in Southeast Sacramento i
County, 25 niles SE of Sacramento, California.
4 On October 8, 1973, the Company filed a request for an extension of the completion date because construction has been delayed due to:
i (1) construction schedule, (ii) labor production, (iii) design =cdifications.
]
and (iv) late delivery of equipment. This action involves no significant l
hazards consideration; good cause has been shown for the delay; and the t
l requested extension is -for a reasonable period. The bases for this 1
. determination are set forth in a staff evaluation dated December 14,

1973.
s IT IS HERE3Y ORDERED THAT the latest completion date for CPPR-56 is extended from Dece:ber 31, 1973 to Septe=ber 30, 1974, with the earliest completion date being June 1,.1974.
