OPEPATING LICENSE AND NEGATIVE DECLARATION Notice is hcreby-given that the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission
.(the Cour.iss'ica) hcs issued Amendment No. 5 to Facility Operating r
License No. DPR-54 issued to Sacramento Municipal Utility District (which revised Technical Specifications for operation of the Rancho Seco Nuclear Generating Station, located in Sacramento County, California.
The amendment is effective ac of its date of issuance.
t The-amendment relates to the replacement of the existing spent fuel stor ge racks, which have a capacity, of 244 as'semblies, with new racks with 579.' storage locations including three failed-fuel container locations.
The application for the amendment complies with the standards and
-requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as cmended (the Act), nnd the Co:mnission's rules and regulations. The Commission has made appropriate
= findings;as. required by:the Act and the Commission's rules and regulations in 10_CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license amendment.
