The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has
$i issued Amendment No'. '20 ' to Facility Operating License No. DPR-54, issued to Sacramento Municipal Utility District, which revised the license for operation of the Rancho Seco Nuclear Generating Station,

located in' Sacramento County, California.
The amendment is effective as of its date of issuance.
I This amendment grants an exemption from the Commission's regula-tions which extends the effective date by which the licensee shall c8nform to the provisions of 10 CFR 50.55a(g)(4) from August 18, 1978, to October. 18, 1979.
In addition, the amendment adds a license condition for the performance of supplementary inservice tests and inspections.-

The application complies with the standards and requirements of
-the Atomic Energy Act of'1954, as amended (the Act), and the Commission's rules 'and regulationsi The Commission.has made appropriate findings as l
required by the_Actcand the Commission's rules and regulations in 10 CFR ~ Chapter I,.~which are set forth in the license amendment.
