Enclosed is a followup investigation report on the allegation identified by
Enclosure 1 of reference (1).
This additional investigation work was conducted to examine the allegation
in the light of a specific set of calculations identified by the alleger
which you telefaxed to W. G. Albert of Region V on June 7,1978, after
the initial investigation had been completed, refennce (2).
Our findings show that a decimal point error in a supplemental calculation
does exist but that the error is of no significance.
No further investigation effort was applied to Allegation V since the
information supplied by the alleger regarding the identity of two persons
formerly employed by the Bechtel organization does not appear relevant in
the light of our original investigation findings.

Per your telephone conversations with W. G. Albert, we intend to make
normal distribution of these reports. The one concern of the inspector
with regard to Bechtel's design calculation checking procedure will be
referred to Region IV-VIB for whatever followup they deem advisable with
regard to current Bechtei practices.
