William Lyren - In 1974 in response to requests by representatives of the Wholesale Consumers of Ohio Edison (WCOE), representatives of Ohio Edison refused to provide wheeling services.

D. Bruce Mansfield - Ohio Edison has a history of opposition to wheeling.

William Lyren - Ohio Edison's industrial retail rates are lower than its whole-sale municipal rates, thus inhibiting Wadsworth and other wholesale customers from competing with Ohio Edison for industrial retail customers.

Roland A. Kampmeier - Ohio Edison has eliminated competition from its whole-sale municipal customers for industrial retail customers by charging the municipals rates for power which are higher than comparable rates it charges to industrial customers.
