Volumes 1, 2 and 3 of the Pre 14=4 nary Safety Analysis Report filed by The Toledo Edison Company and The Cleveland Electric Illuninnting Conpany with their application for authorization to construct and operate the Davis-3 esse Nuclear Power Station are enclosed.

The proposed facility is to be located on the applicants' approxi-mately 900-acre site on the southwest shore of Lake Erie, about twenty-one miles east of Toledo, in Ottawa County, Ohio.

Please review the enclosed volunes and provide us with your ce= rents on the meteorological aspects of the Davis-Besse Statien site trhich might have a bearing upon our safety review of the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Unit No. 1.
