(Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, ) Docket Nos. 50-500A Units 2 and 3) ) 50-5 01 A MOTION OF THE CITY OF CLEVELAND FOR AN EXTENSION OF TIME IN WFICH TO RESPOND TO APPLICANTS' REQUEST FOR THE PRODUCTION OF DOCUMENTS On July 16, 1975, Applicants' served on the City of Cleveland (City) a request for the production of documents in Docket Nos. 30-500A and 50-501A.

The date set for production of documents is August 14, 1975. Pursuant to Section 2. 730 of the Commis sion's Rules of Practice, the City of Cleveland requests an extension of time in with to respond to Applicants' request for the production of documents.

Since receipt of Applicants' request for production of documents, Mr. George Chuplis, the former Commissioner of Light and Power of the '

City of Cleveland, has left office and is only available on a part time basis to assist in the preparation of the City's response.

Mr. Ralph Meister, who succeeded Mr. Chuplis as Commission of Light and Power, has been unavailable to assist in the preparation of the City's response because of personal reasons.

Accordingly the City is unable to complete its response by August 14, 1975 and requests an extension of the time in which it must respond to Applicants' request until August 29, 1975. The City will undertake to make a partial response by August 22, 1975. If the City's re sponse is completed prior to August 29, 1975, the City will make the documents available at that earlier date.

WHEREFORE, the City of Cleveland prays that it be granted additional time until August 29, 1975 in which to respond to Applicants request for documents.
