Docket No. 50-346 R. C. DeYoung, Assistant Director for Pressurized Water Reactors, L DAVIS-BESSE OL IIEARING On October 10, 1973, I was informed by Frank Davis, OCC, that Mrs. Evelyn Stebbins, representing the Coalition for Safe Electric Power, had with-drawn her intervention in the Davis-Besse OL hearing and, accordingly, the ASLB is likely to cancel future hearings.
The prehearing conference scheduled for October 12, 1973 was cancelled.
I telephoned Mrs. Stebbins to find out if she is still interested in meeting with the project managers on October 11, 1973 as scheduled. She said that she had one item that she was concerned about which had come to her attention by way of an employee at the plant site. She feels that the iten has safety significance and would like to discuss it with us.
However, October 11, 1973 is now inconvenient for her and so we tenentively agreed to meet on October 17, 1973 in Cleveland, Ohio.
