Cn October 13, 1977 representatives from the Toledo Edison Company, the Bechtel Corporation and their fire protection consultants met with the NRC Staff to discuss the licensee's submittal in response to Appendix A of dranch Technical Position 9.5-1, Revision 2, " Fire Protection Syste=, including the Fire Hazards Report for DB-1. A list of attendees is attached.
The Staff gave examples where sufficient infor::ation appeared to be lacking in the February 11, 1977 sulnittal to enable an effective review Ly NRC fncconsultants.
The Toledo Edison Ccepany requested another meeting to be held in approxi-cately three (3) weeks to discuss their plans for increasing the level of fire protection in the DB-1 cable screading room. The Staff agreed to this teeting, pending selection of a convenient date.
The licensee anticipates subnittal of an augmented response addressing the concerns identified by the Staff by the latter part of November,1977.
