MODIFICATI0tl 0F POWER ASCEKSION TESTING AT CAVIS-BESSE 1 DUE TO THE REMOVAL OF POIS0H RCDS The enclosed memorandum fra the Region III office recoetends that certain of the completed Dower ascension tests at Davis-Ecsse 1 be reconducted due to the changes in the core that will be caused by the removal of the burnable poison rod assen:blics. Also enclosed is the list of test items which they believe should be considered for retesting. As we understand that this aspect of the core modf-fication is already under review by fiRR. the enclosed caterial is being transmitted for your consideration.
