Contract No. AT(49-5)-30ll John A. Blume & Asso<.iates, Engineers, is hereby requested, pursuant to the conditions of Contract No. AT(49-5)-30ll, to provide the following services for the Ccamission concerning the const,uction permit review for the Davis-Besse IIuclear Power Station which The roledo Edison Company and Ihe Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company propose to construct and operate.

1.

Analyses of the engineering factors included in the design pertaining to the structural response of the facility to ground motion and other related structural requirenents.

2.

Serving as an expert witness in the public hearing on this facility, if required.

Reporting Requirements: Preparati in of a raport on (1) above pur-suant to Article I, paras;raph (a) of the Contract.

All ecsts shall be itemized and requests for reimbursement shall be submitted.

Reports concerning work for others shall be made in accordance with Article I, paragraph (d) and Article IV.

Monetary Ceiling:

$5,000.

Other Applicable Requirements: None This constitutes a Work Directive pursuant to Article I, paragraph (b) of Contract No. AT(49-5)-3011.
