Applicants will take the depositions of the above-named persons on oral examination before a notary public or other officer authorized to admd'ister oaths. The oral examination will be continuous frca d'ty to day until ccm-pleted. These depor,itions are being taken for the purposes of discovery, for possible use at the hearings in the above-captioned proceedings and for such other purposes as are permitted by the Rules of Practice of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

Applicants will examine each deponent on matters relating to the business, policies, electrical power planning and operations, finances, and/or past, present and future activities of the Municipal Power & Light Plant ("MELP"),

Division of Light and Power, and will also inquire into the retail firm power or wholesale firm power competitive sit-uation within and around the City of Cleveland, and, in that context, into the competitive relationships between MELP and

(" AMP-0"), and MELP and other elaetric entities.

In noticing the depositions of the persons named herein, Applicants do not intend to suggest that the fore-going list of deponents is exhaustive, it being recognized that depositions of additional persons may later need to be taken on the basis of testimony given by the individuals identified above or on the basis of testimony given by other witnesses to be deposed by the City of Clevelar.d, the De-partment of Justice and the Staff of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
