DOCKET No. 50-346 RESPONSE TIME TESTING ASSUMPTIONS It is requested that you review the attached memo from R. D. Martin relative to response time testing at Davis-Besse 1 and provide technical guidance on these two pointa:
1.
Is the assumption that analog devices have equivalent response time characteristics for increasing or decreasing signa.ls sufficiently valid to assure Technical Specifications compliance?
4 2.
Is the sampling method to be used for identical devices acceptable or must a larger sample or closer reproducibility be utilized?
Any negative findings with respect to these two points would impact on the licensee schedule, therefore, iL is requested that this review be expedited.
