UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION DOCKET NO. 50-346 THE TOLED0 EDISON COMPANY and THE CLEVELAND ELECTRIC ILLUMINATING COMPANY iDavis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, Unit 1 NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY OF SAFETY EVALUATION REPORT Notice is hereby given that the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation has published its Safety Evaluation Report on the proposed operation of the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, Unit 1, to be located in Ottawa County, Ohio. Notice of receipt of the Toledo Edison Company and the Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company application to construct and operate the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, was published in the Federal Register on April 30,1973 (38 F.R.10661).
The report is being referred to the Advisory Comittee on Reactor Safeguards and is being made available at the Comission's Public Document Room,1717 H Street, N.W., Washington, D.C., and at the Ida Rupp Public Library, 310 Madison Street, Port Clinton, Ohio 43452 for inspection and copying. The report (Document No. NUREG-0136) can also be purchased, at current rates, from the National Technical Information Service, Springfield, Virginia 22161.
