A ENCLOSURE 1 TOLEDO EDISON COMPANY - DAVIS-BESSE UNIT 1 DOCKET NUMBER 50-346 SL7 DIARY OF MEETING - DECE I3ER 20,1972 SU) DIARY A meeting was held on December 20, 1972, with the participants of the Preliminary Review for Davis-Besse to discuss the general guidelines of the review. With only a few exceptions, representatives of all partici-pating organizations were present. None of the participants expect to be late in submitting their evaluation reports with the possible exception of the Auxiliary and Power Conversion Syste=s Branch.
DISCUSSION A brief meeting, approximately one-half hour, was held with the partici-pants to discuss the revieu guidelines and to clarify any questions with regard to the review procedures. All participating branches or offices were represented with only a few exceptions.
The review schedule identifies the project manager to receive all TR evaluation reports by January 3,1973. No probicms in meeting this schedule milestone were identified with the possible e::ception of the Auxiliary and Pcuer Conversion Systems Branch.
The Guide For The Preliminary Review Of Facility License Applications was briefly reviewed. A number of participants were not aware of the availability of this guide.
It was stated that additional copies are available from Central Files. The required material for the evaluation reports from TR (Section 3.0 of the Guide) were enumerated individually and discussee.
It was stated that the FSAR should be judged by the February 1972 edition of the Standard Format and Content of Safety Analysis Reports for Nuclear Power Plants rather than the later October 1972 edition.
