UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION DOCKET NO. 50-346 THE TOLEDO EDISON COMPANY AND THE CLEVELAND ELECTRIC ILLUMINATING COMPANY DAVIS-BESSE NUCLEAR POWER STATION, UNIT NO. 1 NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT TO CONSTRUCTION PERMIT AND AVAILABILITY OF INITIAL DECISION (ANTITRUST)
Notice is hereby given that pursuant to an Initial Decision (Altitrust),
dated January 6,1977, by the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board, the Nuclear Regulatory Comission has issued Amendment No. 3 to Construction Permit CPPR-80 issued to The Toledo Edison Company and The Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company for construction of the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, Unit No.1, presently under construction at the Applicants' site on the southwestern shore of Lake Erie in Ottawa County, Ohio, approximately 21 miles east of Toledo, Ohio. The Board's Initial Decision includes antitrust conditions to be attached to licenses for the Davis-Besse 1, 2 and 3 nuclear units.
The Nuclear Regulatory Comission has found that the provisions'of this amendment comply with the requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, and the Comission's regulations published in 10 CFR Chapter I and has concluded that the issuance of this amendment will not be inimical to the comon defense and security or to the health and safety of the public.

A copy of the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board's Initial Decision (Antitrust), dated January 6,1977, and Amendment No. 3 to Construction Permit No. CPPR-80 are available for public inspection at the Commission's Public Document Room,1717 H Street, N. W., Washington, D. C. and in the Ida _ Rupp' Public Library, 310 Madison Street, Port Clinton, Ohio 43452.
