Dear Mr. Rusche:

j Under separete cover, we are transmitting Amendment No. 43 to the Appli-cation for Licenses for the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Unit No. 1.

This Amendment consists of Revision No. 26 to the Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR). Three (3) original and twenty-five (25) conformed copies of the transmittal sheet are included together with sixty (60) cc' pies of Revision 26 to the FSAR.

This revision consists primarily of minor changes and revisions resulting from recent discussions between the Applicant and the NRC staff in preparation for ACRS meetings.

Also included as part of this Amendment is the submittal of three (3) copies of new and revised detailed EI&C drawings.
