Purpose:

The purpose of this meeting, between STP Nuclear Operating Company (STPNOC) and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff, is to discuss a proposed license amendment request to rebaseline the South Texas Project, Units 1 and 2 Emergency Plan to align with guidance in NUREG-0654, Revision 2. STPNOC will also discuss the proposed elimination of some augmented emergency response organization positions.
