Dear Mr. Easter-Thank you for your letter of April 28, ' 980, requesting the Nuclear Regulatory 1
Comission's (NRC) assistance at the Maryland Commission on Intergovemmental 1
Cooperation on June 3, 1980.
NRC will provide a witness who will be prepared to address the two questions on spent fuel which you posed as an addendum to your April 28, 1980, letter.
Accompanying this witness will be Mr. Tom Elsasser who is the NRC's Regional State Liaison Officer for Maryland.
It is our understanding that NRC's participation in this proceeding will be directed to the matter of spent fuel storage at Calvert Cliffs.
