Dear Captain Hayhurst:
By letter dated April.29, 1980, I have requested your response to two ques-tions concerning an event alleged to have occurred on the arrival of US Air flight No.170 in Harrisburg. Pennsylvania on January 24, 1980. As a result of discussions with Captain Ron Sessa, US Afr's System Chief Pilot and.Marvin Kahn. Esq., US Afe's Vice President, Corporste Law, I was inforced that you were the pilot '.6 causand of this flight.
The allegation cade was that on the approach-into Harrisburg the aircraft was flown directly over the Three Mile Island Nuclear Station,,a f=et enfirmd, it was stated, by the " pilot".
_ A copy of the relevant portion of the transcript of the hearing held on February 25,1980 before an Atomic Safety and Licensing Appeal Board of the NRC, was attached to n;y letter.
Although I have already received a response to my April 29 letter fred I
