Dear Mr. Grier:
The referenced letter itemizes certain actions to be completed by Philadelphia Electric Company (PECO).
Item B.4 concernsBulletin 79-14 which pertains to seismic analyses for as-built. safety-related piping systems and states that PECO is to " submit a final report within 30 days of completion of the Unit 2 effort or by June 15, 1980, whichever occurs first."
Bechtel Power Corporation is performing the engineering review and analyses for the as-built safety-related piping at Peach Bottom Units 2 and 3.
Unit 3 is in operation and a final report of the review will be submitted by June 15, 1980.
Due to the large scope of the project, the Unit 2 review will not be completed by June 15, 1980.
Unit 2 is currently in a refueling outage that is scheduled for completion by the end of July.
A final report for Unit 2 will be submitted prior to the unit startup.
