In accordance with the Board's " Schedule of Reports From Applicants and NRC Staff." dated June 13, 1980, the Staff is hereby informing the Board and the parties as to the status of the Skagit project.
Since the submission of our second status report on May 30, 1980, nothing new has developed with respect to the NRC or USGS review of the Skagit application.
Furthermore, no meetings or discussions have taken place or been scheduled between the Applicants and the Staff to discuss the outstanding NRC/USGS questions on geology / seismology.
Accordingly, we are unable to predict a reasonable date for rescheduling hearings on these matters.
