Dear Mr. Reid:
On August 31, 1979, MIT replied to your letter of July 30, 1979, addressed to nonpower reactor licenses, and we provided inventory information on amounts of SNM possessed, required in the core, in storage, exempt and non-exempt.
In response to your staff's request last week for information on all SNM possessed I have prepared the attached table; it lists all licenses authorizing SNM, the form, location, type of material, authorized amounts, and the inventory on March 31, 1980. Receipts, shipments and burnup have altered the March 31st data, but the changes are not significant and totals are still within authorized amounts.
