Dear Mr. Morrow:
I am writing in response to your card dated April 12, 1980 regarding krypton venting. The Staff has considered your comments in the final environmental assessment on removing krypton from Three Mile Island, Unit 2.
You also asked concerning the Vermont Yankee torus. We have required certain changes which have increased the safety factor of the torus sufficiently that we judge it to be acceptable. We are also requiring other changes which will further increase the safety factor on a longer term basis.
