George Kuzcymz Docket No. 50-267

Subject:

FSV Core Th/U Ratio

Dear Mr. Miller:

Mr. Tokar of the staff has questioned the effect of the fissile fuel Th/U ratio reduction from 4.5/1 to 3.6/1 on the total core Th/U ratio.

The reduction in fissile fuel Th/U ratio has no affect on the total core Th/U ratio.

The total core Th/U ratio remains unchanced.

This letter is forwarded to document the response given by Mr. Dave Alberstein (GAG) to Mr. Tokar (NRC) in a telephone conversatiori earlier this week.

If there are any further questions, please let me know.

Very truly yours,

,A
