20553 Re: Additional Comments Relative to the Final Environmental Statement Related to Operation of Lacrosse Boiling Water Reactor, Dairyland Power Cooperative, Vernon County, Wisconsin
Dear Dr. Geckler:
The Departmen* based on additional review comments provided by staff, submits a follow-up to the June 6, 1980 letter previously provided.
These additional comments are based on a review of the responses provided by the Commission to the Department's letter of October 1,1976 on the Draft Environmental Statement.
Some of our questions or concerns on the sections listed below may have been answered; however, the format used by the Commission in responding to the October 1,1976 letter leaves the Department uncertain whether they were addressed.
Section 3.4.5, Paragraph 4 Section 3.6.2, Paragraph 1 Sections 3.6.2.1, 3.6.2.2 and 3.6.2.3 Section 3.6.3.4 Section 5.3.1, Paragraph 8 Section 5.3.2, Paragraph 3 Table 5.5.1 Section 5.5.1.4, Paragraphs 1, 5 and 7 Section 5.7.1 In addition, no response was provided on the paragraph related to "down time" located in our General Comments section.

O R. Geckler June 19, 1980 Page 2 The Department reccer. ends that the format used in responding to corr.ents or questions be modified to specifically identify the response or area that has been addressed. This will enable the reader to better determine both the nature and location of the response.
We hope these concerns will be adequately addressed along with those identified in our June 6, 1980 response.
Sincerely, Bureau of Environmental Impact fha i
