EXPORT LICENSE APPLICATION XSNM01677 The quantity of ' plutonium to be exported under this license exceeds the Executive Branch generic approval of October 21,1977, and should have been
-forwarded to them for their views. However, through an oversight, the applica-tion was forwarded only to DOE with a request _ for their assistance in obtaining an assurance letter.
It was after the receipt of the assurance letter that the oversight was discovered.
On June 11, 1980, Marvin Peterson and Betty Wright called Richard Williamson of ACDA and Robin DeLaBarre of DOS to obtain their verbal approval of the export.
