Work Required Task III Perform tearing stability analyses to determine the potential for unstable crack extension in piping having a postulated through wall i
flaw and subjected to pressure and seismic loadings.
Analytical computai. ions shall include an estimate of the crack opening area.
Analyses will be required for a maximum of four (4) pipe runs.
Assistance.111 also be provided to assist in preparation of input for the Pipe Crack Study Group Report.

5 By June 15, 1980, the contractor shall provide a verbal report of the results of his effort to the C0AR.
ARTICLE III - GOVERNMENT FURNISHED MATERIAL is bodified by adding the following:
The NRC by liay 15, 1980, will furnish to the Contractor (1) drawings of the pipe runs to be analyzed, (2) a definition of the loadings on the pipe runs, (3) a description of the postulated cracks in the piping runs, and (4) J - resistance curves for the piping r.aterials.
ARTICLE IV - CONSIDERATION is hereby acdified to read as folicws:
A.
Estimated Cost, Obligation of Funds 1.
It is estimated that the total cost to the government for full performance of this contract will be 581,998.00.
2.
Total funds currently available for payment and allotted to this contract is hereby increased by $7,000.00 from 74,998 to 581,998.00.
