Gentlemen:
Haddam Neck Plant Millstone Nuclear Power Station, Unit Nos. 1 and 2 IE Investigation Report 50-293/80-12 Via Reference (1), Connecticut Yankee Atomic Power Company (CYAPCO) and Northeast Nuclear Energy Company (NNECO) were provided the results of the Staff's investigation into allegations of illegal shipment and subsequent burial of spent nuclear fuel.
Although no formal response to Reference (1) was required, we wish to inform you of the following incorrect statements.
On the page entitled "I.
Background", Northeast Nuclear Energy Company is incorrectly identified to be a utility company licensed to operate the Haddam Neck Nuclear Power Station. The licensee for the Haddam Neck Plant is Connecticut Yankee Atomic Power Company.
Similarly, on the page entitled "III.
Details", Northeast Nuclear Energy Company is again identified to be the licensee for the Haddam Neck Plant.
