ATLANilC CITY ELECIRIC COMPANY NOTICE Of ISSUANCE OF AMEN 0 MENT TO FACILITY OPERAllNG LICENSL The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Comission (the Comission) has issued Amendment No. I to facility Operating License No. OPR-75, issued to Public Service Electric and Gas Company, Philadelphia Electric Company, Delmarva Power and Light Company and Atlantic City Electric Company (the licensecs),
which revised Technical Specifications for operation of 'he Salem Nuclear Generating Station, Unit No. 2 (the facility) located in Salem County.
The amendment is effective as of the date of issuance.
The amendment suspends the limitations of one of the Technical Specifications during the perfonnance of i'.~.dividual full length rod testing and during rod position indication system cal.ibration.
The application for the amendment complies with the standards and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Comission's rules and regulations.
The Comission has made appropriate findings as required by the Act and the Commission's rules and m gulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license amendment.
Prior public notice of this amendment was not required since the arr.endment does not involve a significant hazards consideration.

, The Commission has determined that the issuance of this amendment will not result in any significant environmental impact and that pursuant to 10 CFR $51.5(d)(4) an environmental impact statement or negative declaration and environmental impact appraisal need not be prepared in connection with issuance of this amendment.
