20555 Re:
In the Matter of Houston Lighting & Power Company (Allens Creek Nuclear Generating Station, Unit 1)
Docket No. 50-466 Gentlemen:
l Applicant has received the document entitled " Statement of Position With Regard to Linkage Between Financial Qualifications and Safety" filed by Bryan Baker on June 3, 1980.
This document asserts that intervenor's financial qualifications contention, as admitted by the Board Order dated March 10, 1980, includes a postulated linkage between financial qualifications and safety.
Applicant earlier interpreted the Board's Order (at pp. 79-80) as intending to more narrowly define Mr. Baker's contention and to maintain a distinction between it and the related contention proffered by intervenors Doggett and Perrenod.
