SUBJECT:
GENERIC ISSUE A-9 PRESSURE VESSEL BELTLINE MATERIAL SURVEILLANCE Generic. Issue A-9, " Pressure Vessel Beltline Material Surveillance", was initiated by letter dated May 20, 1977. Many utilities responded with information on their reactor vessel material surveillance programs. The data has primarily been used in our review of other related amendment.s or actions such as changes in heat-up and cool-down technical specifications.
Therefore, I ask that each PM use Attachment 1 to determine whether their assigned licensees have submitted data in response to our memo of May 1977.
If a licensee has responded with data for a plant, the associated TACS form should be marked complete.
If the information has not been received, the PM should determine when it will be sent in.
When the information has been received, that TAC should be marted complete.
