PROPOSED EXPORT THAT NO LONGER REQUIRES COMMISSIONER REVIEW (XSNM01653)

Enclosed for your review are copies of a pending license application, favorable Executive Branch views, and proposed license for the export of 33,660 kilograms uranium, 3.8% enriched,for use as two reloads in Barsebaeck 1 Nuclear Power Plant in Sweden.

Under revised 10 CFR Part 110 regulations, this type of export no longer requires Commissioner review. Unless we are advised by your office, within 7 working days from the date of this memorandum, of any particular issues which may require further analysis, it is IP's intention to issue a license for the proposed export.
