PROPOSED EXPORT THAT NO LONGER REQUIRES COMMISSIONER REVIEW (XSNM01640)

Enclosed for your review are copies of a pending license application, favor-able Executive Branch views, and proposed license for the export of 7,587.75 kilograms uranium, enriched to 1.920%, for use in the FUGEN reactor in Japan.

Under revised 10 CFR Part 110 regulations, this type of export no longer requires Commissioner review. Unless we are advised by your office, within 7 working days from the date of this memorandum, of any particular issues which may require further analysis, it is IP's intention to issue a license for the proposed export.
