T,uring the equalization of air pressure between thw reactor building and the airlock via the inner door valve, a purge valve on tl'e outer (almospheric) door was lef t open permitting flow from atnosphere into the reactor building via the airlock.

the tuo procedures used tur the entry did not close the outer duur purge valve at the prosce sequence prior to inner door pressure equali7ation.

There was no detectante release of radioactivity from this event.
