Dear Mr. Fryar:
We have received a copy of an application for a discharge permit requested by the Arkansas Power & Light Company for their Arkansas Nuclear One facility forwarded from your office. We have no objection to the issuance of such a permit.
Under our present procedure.10 CFR 50. Appendix D, we will develop a detailed environmental statement for this facility, including an environmental impact analysis of the discharge of effluents from this plant, whid will be circulated for conment upon its completion in several months time.
