NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF AVENDMENT~TO FACILITY OPERAT!fG LICENSE The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has issued Amendmert fJo. 17 ' to Facility Operating License No. DFC-54 issued. to Sacramento Municipal Utility District, which revised Technical Specifi-cations for operation of the Rancho Seco Nuclear Generating Station, located in Sacramento County, California. The amendment is effective as of its date of issuance.
This amendment revises the administrative controls portion of'the Technical Specifications to (1) delete reference to Regulatory Guide 1.16 so that a new format for Licensee Event Reports (LER) can be used, ar.d (2) delete the Annual Operating Report and acd adcitional information in the Monthly Operating Reports.
The application for the amendment complies with the-standards and requirements of the Atomic Energy Ae.t of 1954, as amenced (the Act), and the Com-ission's rules and iegulatiers. The Commissior has made appropriate findings as required by the Act and the Commission's rules and regulations in 10 CFD Chapter I, which are set fceth in the license amendment.
Prior public retice of this amendment was not required since the amendment does not invo'.ve a significant hazards consideratior..
