Operating License DPR-54 Docket No. 50-312 Core 2 Physics Startup Report
Dear Mr. Goller:
The Sacramento Municipal Utility District hereby submits a report detailing the reactor physics testing performed at Rancho Seco Nuclear Generating Station, Unit i during the startup and initial power escalation for Cycle 2.
As stated in section 3.0 of the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation's safety evaluation supporting Amendment No. 14 to Facility Operating License DPR-54, this report encompasses the physics testing program detailed in BAW-1460 " Rancho Seco Nuclear Generating Station, Unit 1, Cycle 2 Reload Report" (June 1977) and in a letter from W. C. Walbridge (SMUD) to R. W. Reid (NRC) dated August 29, 1977 If any questions arise concerning this report submittal, they should be directed to D. D. Whitney, Senior Nuclear Engineer at the Rancho Seco Nuclear Generating Station.
