Dear Sir:
Your letter of July 26, 1976, addressed itself to the Sacramento Municipal Utility District's implementation of the Nuclear Plant Relia-bility Data Systems.
I consider this program to be an important part of the industry's programs of identifying problems of a generic nature and attempting to correct these identified problems.
To date SHUD has submitted basic data for mechanical and electrical components numbering approximately 2200 inputs. We anticipate inputting another 300 instrumentation items by October 1, 1976.
This submittal will complete the basic data.
These submittals, along with our current reporting of system or 4
component failures within the scope of NPRDS, will make Rancho Seco a fully committed participant in NPRDS.
