Despite the fact that SMUD is still in the procer of negotiating a more comprehensive quality assurance program wita sRL, we are satis-f!ed that the licensee's program as presently outlined in Appendix 1.B. to the PSAR, and the Applicant's answer to the Hearing Board question No. 12, plus the formal inspection program developed by Bechtel (the architect-engineer) is adequately serving in the interim. It also appears that the Quality Assurance Coordinator recently hired by SMUD is well qualified for the position, having had nine years of experience in the QA-QC field.
