03 Under separate cover we are transmitting Amendment No. 23 to the Application for Licenses for the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Unit No.1. This amendment consists of Revision 9 to the Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR). Three (3) original and twenty-five (25) conformed copies of the transmittal sheet are included together with seventy (70) copies of Revision 9 to the FSAR. This revision to the FSAR consists of miscellaneous editorial changes, but is primarily responsive to Mr. A. Schwencer's letter of August 6,1974. With respect to the latter, the numbered items are addressed as follows:
1.
LOCA Analysis and ECCS Design Submission of the requested infonnation is confirmed for December,1974, as indicated in responses to Questions 4.4.2 and 15.2.9.
2.
Quality Assurance for Operation Revised Section 17.2 was submitted with Revision 8 to the FSAR. Further review is under way.
3.
Industrial Security Plan The response to Question 13.7 is revised to indicate a January,1975, submission of the Industrial Security Plan.
4.
Radioactive Materials Safety A Section 12.4 is mcluded in this revision to the FSAR covering the subject.
