Dear Mr. Giambusso:

Under separate cover, we are transmitting Amendment No. 29 to the Application for Licenses for the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Unit 1.

This Amendment consists of Revision No. '3 to the Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR). Three (3) original and twt :y-five (25) conformed copies of the transmittal sheet are included together with seventy (70) copies of Revision 13 to the FSAR.

This revision consists primarily of responses to Round-2 requests and positions which have been transmitted to the Applicant in the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's letter dated April 18, 1975. The remainder of the responses to Round-2 requests will be submitted in Revision 14 which is scheduled to be submitted to the NRC on July 14, 1975. Also included in this Amendment is the submittal of three (3) copies of revisions to detailed EI&C drawings.

As discussed with the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Stntion Unit 1 Licensing Project Manager, we have responded with alternate positions to Positions 6.3.1, 6.3.2 and 6.3.3.
