Dear Mr. Stolz:
This is in response to your July 6, 1978 letter requesting additional information concerning the Fire Hazard Analysis for Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Unit 1.
As we indicated in a July 19 telephone conver-sation between Mr. Leon Engle and Mr. C. R. Domeck, we plan to submit a majority (approximately 85%) of the requested information by September 6, 1978. We plan to submit the remaining information not later than September 27, 1978. We will attempt to provide the later information prior to September 27, but the extent of the requested information will make it difficult for us to improve our schedule. We believe the meeting with the NRC Staf f on August I will result in clarification of material requested in certain areas.
